Back in 1992, former label Cri Du Chat Disques released Le Sacré du Printemps, the debut album of the one man band SIMBOLO and the first digital record in the arising Brazilian electronic scene. In its 12 tracks the album presented harsh vocals and dense instrumentals, somehow reminding us the Slovenian band Laibach.
The album got very positive reviews and gained attention worldwide and SIMBOLO appeared as best new electronic artist in the magazines Side-Line and Crewzine paving the way to several more Brazilian electronic acts such as Aghast View, Morgue and Individual Industry.
Unfortunately, after two decades, the Brazilian industrial scene is in a deep coma with a few occasional spasms when concerts and festivals can be spotted.
Not a better time hear to the pioneer SIMBOLO announcing its come back. The band is on studio remastering old tracks and recording new material to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Le Sacré du Printemps. Let's hope it's a new dawn for the fading Brazilian industrial music and more artists may return to activity as well as new acts may appear.
In the mean time, we look forward to hear the new masterpieces of the pioneer SIMBOLO.

Em 1992, o hoje extinto selo Cri Du Chat Disques lançava Le Sacré du Printemps, o álbum de estréia da banda de um homem só SIMBOLO - e o primeiro registro digital da cena eletrônica brasileira que começava a despontar. Em suas 12 faixas o álbum vocais guturais e instrumentais densos, lembrando em alguns momentos a banda eslovena Laibach.
O álbum foi bem recebido pela crítica e pelos fãs e ganho repercussão mundial. O SIMBOLO apareceu como melhor revelação nas revistas européias Side-Line e Crewzine em 1992 e abriu caminho para outros nomes brasileiros, como Aghast View, Morgue e Individual Industry.
Infelizmente, após duas décadas, a cena industrial brasileira está em coma profundo, apenas com espasmos ocasionais onde surgem poucos shows e festivais.
É talvez a melhor hora para o SIMBOLO anunciar seu retorno. A banda está em estúdio remasterizando antigas faixas e gravando material novo para comemorar o vigésimo aniversário do Le Sacré du Printemps. Esperamos que essa seja uma nova alvorada para a cena nacional e que mais artistas voltem à ativa e que novas bandas possam emergir no cenário.
Enquanto isso, aguardamos ansiosos pelas novas obras primas do pioneiro SIMBOLO.
